東京ゲームショウ準備編 ～Pandoraid iOS初申請＆リジェクト昔ばなし～
むか～しむかし、岡山のとある山奥に
VeLTiNAどん
と言うけったいな個人ゲーム開発者がおったそうな・・・
そんなある日の事、VeLTiNAどん宛に「東京ゲームショウ インディーゲームコーナー事務局」から「iOS/Android向け最新作 Pandoraid（パンドライド）」出展の書状が届いた。
VeLTiNAどんは大層よろこび、小躍りしながら９月２０日～２３日開催の東京ゲームショウを楽しみにしておったが、８月末になっても「iOS版」のストア公開申請がまだじゃった。
VeLTiNAどん「そろそろPandoraidのiOS版公開して、チラシを作らにゃならんべ。」
そう言うと、VeLTiNAどんは素早くMacbookAirを取り出し、XcodeからiOSアプリを華麗に作成。あっという間にAppStoreに申請を済ませたんじゃ。（※１）
VeLTiNAどん「これでええ、数日後には公開されとるじゃろう。「Pandoraid」はギャンブル要素もないし、過激な表現もない。審査で厳しいとお馴染みのAppleどんと言えど、リジェクト（申請却下）はせんじゃろう。」
そう言うと、VeLTiNAどんは公開を楽しみに床についた。
そして翌朝、Appleどんから書状が届いておった。
VeLTiNAどん「なんじゃあ、もう公開されたんか！」
ワクワクしながら、書状を開くと「リジェクトのお知らせ」じゃった。
VeLTiNAどん「な、なんでじゃ！！」
リジェクトの細かい内容全て英語じゃったが、「メタデータ」の問題じゃった。
2. 1 Performance: App Completeness
Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed

5.2.3 - Facilitate illegal file sharing or include the ability to save, convert, or download media from third party sources without explicit authorization from those sources
5.3.4 - Do not have the necessary licensing and permissions for all the locations where the app is used

早速、Google先生を通し翻訳していくと奇妙な一文がでてきおった。
2.3.0 - Undergo significant concept changes after approval
「承認後、重大なコンセプトの変更がある」という内容じゃった。
VeLTiNAどん「初めての申請なのに、バカこくでねえ！他のアプリと間違えとるんでねえか！？」
他にも、支払いに関する事、ギャンブルサイトへのリンクの事、ローンの事など、全く身に覚えもない話が続いておった。（※２）
VeLTiNAどん「駄目じゃ！このままでは東京ゲームショウに間に合わん！急いで再審査をしてもらうんじゃ！」
VeLTiNAどんは東京ゲームショウに間に合うよう、Appleどんに頼み込んだ。
－そして数日後、Appleどんから再び書状が届いた。
早速、VeLTiNAどんは内容を確認したが、良い返事は書いておらず、Appleどんは「メタデータ」を理由に、再審査すらしてくれなんだ・・・
VeLTiNAどん「リジェクト理由に身に覚えはないが、説明するしかないんかのぅ・・・
これでAppleどんの気がすんで、再審査してくれるんじゃろうか・・・」
この時すでに９月７日。ストア情報を載せたチラシはもう間に合わんかった・・・（※３）
VeLTiNAどんは意気消沈のまま、Google先生を通し翻訳文をAppleどんに送った。
メタデータに対する回答、ガイドライン違反はない事、東京ゲームショウが近づいておる事、全てを書いて送ったんじゃ。

There is no in-app purchase.
There is no purchase outside the application.

There is no such function or induction.
It will not be displayed even in advertisements.

This application is a game chosen as a Tokyo game show by other game developers.
I think that there are not many similar games.

There is no time until the Tokyo Game Show!
－それから１週間後、９月１５日の事じゃった。
Appleどんから書状が届いた。
そこに書かれていたのは「Welcome to the App Store」。
こうして、「Pandoraid」のiOS版がリリースとなった。
・・・東京ゲームショウ開催５日前の出来事じゃった。ちなみに公開は４日前の１６日だった。
と、言うわけで・・・
2018年9月16日、個人開発チーム「GoToSeven（ゴートゥセブン）」より、
ローグライク・アクションＲＰＧ「Pandoraid（パンドライド）」を、App Storeでも公開しました。

※１ 実際は数週間格闘しっぱなし。Xcodeでエラーを吐くたびに英語で検索したり大変。（今でも）
※２ 当時は疑問だったが、今考えるとアプリ自体ではなくデリケートな広告（ギャンブル、消費者金融、出会い系、ダイエット等々）を表示してないかの確認だったように思う。
※３ ただし予防策はとってチラシ作りをしていた。iOS表記はあるが「リリース（Release）」とは書かない。最悪予約ページを設けるつもりだった。
